Our Library

The International School of Central Switzerland's Library Media Centre (LMC), otherwise known as the "hub", is a bright learning space for all. In the LMC there are many media resources to support and extend student learning. There are thousands of books which can be used for research purposes or just for general reading pleasure.

Our library is managed using the Junior Librarian software. All of our children can access the library resources via their laptops. They can check-in and check-out books using a bar code reader that scans the respective books.

The LMC also contains a professional stage for presentations or theatre productions which are arranged and produced by the students.

We also use a powerful media centre for showing video clips, presentations or playing music.

Parents, teachers and children recently spent a weekend redesigning and remodelling the LMC. The community spirit was terrific and the revamped library is excellent.
